Registration For FALL 2019 session
Southern Illinois Revolution Development Program provides an opportunity for young players 5 to 7 years of age to grow their individual soccer skills in a professional environment as an introduction to competitive soccer.
The emphasis of the program is to introduce young players to the game of soccer in a fun, nurturing environment. The Development Program is for all types of soccer players wanting to improve their soccer fundamentals, have fun, keep fit and make new friends.
Development Program Information
Training sessions are run by professional staff members who’ve achieved licensing through USSF State or National coaching associations. Our trainers are very passionate about the sport and are trained to conduct age specific sessions to keep the players engaged.
The SI Revolution Development Program is open to all types of soccer players. We provide an opportunity for all levels of youth recreational soccer players to develop through a format similar to our current select program. The main objectives of our program are to provide:
A structured curriculum that promotes skill development across all levels
Repetition of technical skills that are essential in the development of players
Professional training by the Southern Illinois Revolution staff
Small-sided games where players have a chance to use the skills that they learned during the week
An enjoyable and exciting experience in every session so that each player continues to love the game of soccer
Emphasize an environment that encourages players to flourish while focusing on skill development
Emphasize quality and long-term benefits rather than short-term gain, within an age-appropriate development process
Sessions Begin August 4th
5 to 7 years old co-ed: 4 v 4 games no GK
Monday nights will include 50 minutes of instruction working on technical skills and dribbling.
Friday Nights 6:30pm - 8pm
